Frequently asked questions

  • My studio/office is located in the Bushwick/East Williamsburg area in Brooklyn (NYC). Generally, my travel range is limited to the NYC area (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn) areas accessible by the MTA subway system. However, if you are outside of this area, or your specific project requires full studio setup on location - I'd be happy to arrange an alternative travel method (Uber, Lyft, etc.), and the cost will be added to your invoice as the travel fee. The travel fee generally starts at $100 and goes up based on distance.

  • My availability is dependent on daily scheduled projects. So it can be a bit hectic. However, my shooting hours usually fall between 9 am and 7 pm, seven days a week.

(If your timing needs fall outside of this window, I'd be happy to discuss specific details and possibilities for your project)

All phone calls must be pre-scheduled, as I do not take or make calls while working with other clients. Still, I'm mainly available to communicate via text or email during these hours.

I am also available on major holidays, but I do take occasional vacations. So if you are looking to book a shoot over the holidays, please get in touch with me in advance to discuss the specific arrangements.

  • I specialize in portrait photography and everything remotely connected to the field - headshots, lifestyle, editorial, commercial, corporate, etc.

That being said, I am always up for new challenges, and over the years, I have collaborated and still continue to work with a variety of clients on different projects such as - Interior/architecture, documentary/event, and still life.

  • Yes, all final photos are fully edited

The overall editing process involves the following adjustments: exposure, color, saturation, straightening, alignment, shadow and highlight correction, clarity/detail, sharpening, cropping, and color grading (including my custom color and black & white filters).

If you need additional, more specific, and detailed Photoshop retouching—such as removing or replacing objects or backgrounds, bracketing, or Luxury beauty retouching like skin, hair, and wardrobe cleanup—we can discuss this either before or right after the shoot during the selection process. Additional retouching may incur a fee, usually around $100 per image, depending on the job complexity.

  • This generally varies from shoot to shoot. It really depends on the length of the shoot and deliverable image count. Still, typically it will be anywhere from 5-10 business days for individuals and small groups. Larger projects that require more comprehensive editing and retouching will take longer to complete. Also, please note that the final photos will be delivered only after the final invoice is paid in full.

  • All my sessions are a minimum of one hour; however, you may use as much or as little of that hour as you choose! Depending on the project circumstances, the maximum time I can spend on a project is around 7-8 hours. If you require more coverage, I would be happy to discuss the specifics of your project.

  • Even though, for now, I only offer digital files, I think it is essential for photographs to be printed, to have them in their intended physical form, and on occasion, I do recommend and offer prints to my clients. I use a few different printing services, from conventional to framed gallery-quality prints. Prices vary depending on the quality and size of the prints. Let me know If you are interested, and I will be happy to discuss adding the prints to your package.

  • Yes, I do, but it's a specialty add-on for select clients, as video production is more demanding technically. Please reach out in advance to discuss the details.

  • I've been surrounded by arts my entire life, growing up in a family of musicians. I studied classical music as a child. While fascinated by visual arts, I got into art school at age 15, studied painting, and moved to New York right after graduating. Even as a kid, I was always drawn to the camera. I was always the first to volunteer to take family photos and document our precious memories. That attraction never left. I always carried my point and shoot camera around, mainly to take reference photos for my paintings; eventually, I felt that I could express myself better with the medium of photography, so I bought a professional DSLR camera in 2011 and started shooting portraits and headshots in my home studio while learning various thicks and techniques by working with and assisting other already established and experienced photographers. Since then, I've been a freelance photographer, and over the last decade, I have had the pleasure of working with many unique and inspiring individuals, brands, startups, publications, artists, models, and creatives alike.

  • To secure your session, a 50% deposit is required. I accept various payment methods, including Check, ACH, Zelle, and Venmo. My booking process is streamlined, starting with a consultation to understand your needs and schedule the ideal session

  • Please be on time. I often shoot back-to-back, so if you’re late, your session will be shorter. If you’re more than 30 minutes late for a 1-hour shoot, it will be considered a cancellation, and payments are non-refundable. If you're running late, let me know your ETA as soon as possible.

    Rescheduling

You can reschedule at no extra charge if you notify me at least 72 hours in advance. New dates will depend on availability.

    Cancellations

Rescheduling is always better than canceling. If you cancel your session entirely, all payments will be forfeited. If I ever need to cancel (which is rare), you’ll get a full refund.

  • Yes Please! Reviews are a crucial part of any small business. Unfortunately, since I am still in the early stage of having my business online for public review, I don't have too many reviews yet. That being said, I would definitely appreciate it if you would leave me a review! For now, I only have a google account, but I will be registering on other platforms shortly.
