Tskhmori, Republic of Georgia. A small village with incredible views, spring waters, waterfalls, and wild hazelnuts in abundance, this is a small paradise hidden away in the beautiful green mountains of Georgia, this is where my father lives for the past 18 years, in the small wooden house built by this grandparents, on the land of their ancestors.
I dreamt about this visit for the past 18 years, that's when I last visited this paradise, and have been longing ever since. finally, in 2018 I got to go back and reconnect with my father and the fatherland. I constantly dream of having the courage to leave New York and move to a place just like this, living off the land, simpler life but for now, it still remains a dream.
Photographs depict meer fraction of the actual beauty of this place, luscious landscapes, my re-introduction to people and details of my father's everyday life.
